One of the highlights of our Singapore vacation last week was taking photos at the Fort Canning Park Tree Tunnel, a popular Instagram spot.

At the end of the tunnel is a spiral staircase leading to the surface.

Looking up from the stairs,

the sunlight filtering through the treetops creates a beautiful effect,

so it quickly became a photo op.

On the day we were there, there were also Japanese and Korean visitors.

Taking photos here requires patience; we waited over an hour before it was our turn.

The tunnel was also very hot and stuffy, with little wind.

Remember to bring a fan and stay hydrated.
