I spent about a month in Singapore and explored both its classic highlights and rich cultural experiences. One of the most memorable was the iconic Raffles Hotel High Tea—expensive, yes, but absolutely worth it for the ambiance and elegance. The hotel itself is stunning, with warm natural lighting, and the service is truly top-notch.
Singapore is also home to many historic and cultural landmarks, such as the Sri Mariamman Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in the country. It remains an active place of worship not only for Hindus but for people of all faiths. The temple’s vibrant Tamil-style architecture makes it a must-visit, welcoming all who enter.
During my stay, I also explored some of Singapore’s newest openings. Weave Sentosa opened in July 2025, and I had the chance to visit the new Pierre Hermé flagship—the brand’s first in Southeast Asia—where I enjoyed exquisite macarons and ice cream. Another highlight was the decadent creations from French pastry chef Cédric Grolet. I also experienced the Prada Caffè at ION Orchard, where the brand’s timeless elegance is paired with refined dining.
Food, of course, was a major highlight. The famous Chatterbox chicken rice, lobster laksa, and oyster omelette were absolutely mouthwatering. I’d highly recommend dining there, but be sure to make reservations as it’s always packed.
I was also lucky enough to celebrate Singapore’s SG60 National Day at The Fullerton Bay Hotel. With its private viewing deck overlooking Marina Bay, I enjoyed spectacular fireworks while celebrating alongside locals and visitors in a truly joyous atmosphere.
Paragon Shopping Mall also surprised me with its rotating atrium exhibitions. My favorite was an art gallery installation featuring elegant animal sculptures crafted from precious materials.
Singapore is far from boring, contrary to what some people may think. From cultural gems to luxurious experiences, it offers something for everyone.
