- The Sri Mariamman Temple is Singapore's oldest Hindu temple. It is an Agami-style temple built in the Dravidian style. Located at 244 South Bridge Road in Chinatown, the temple serves the majority of Singapore's Hindu and Tamil populations. Due to its architectural and historical significance, the temple has been designated a national monument and is a major tourist attraction. The Sri Mariamman Temple is administered by the Hindu Foundation Board.
- The main prayer hall is the shrine of the Goddess Mariamman, flanked by shrines to two minor deities: Lord Rama and Lord Murugan. The main prayer hall is surrounded by numerous freestanding shrines housed in pavilion-like structures with decorated domes called vimanas. These shrines are dedicated to the deities Durga, Ganesha, and Shiva.
