Art and History by the River

#mytraveldiary

From my lens, the Asian Civilisations Museum exterior is a timeless blend of colonial grace set against Singapore’s buzzing riverside. Its cream façade glows beautifully under daylight, exuding both history and calm. Just nearby, the metallic ball art installation catches the eye, its reflective surface mirroring the museum, trees, and skyline in playful distortions. Framing both in a single shot creates a dynamic contrast: the museum standing as a symbol of heritage, and the sculpture as a nod to modern creativity. Together, they tell a visual story of old meeting new right along the Singapore River
