National Day Special with Momentus Hotel Alexandra's lounge

Travelling doesn’t always mean catching a flight and crossing borders. Sometimes, the best journeys are the ones taken within our own country, especially when it’s our nation’s birthday. On a day as meaningful as this, I found no reason to be anywhere else but HOME.

This year, I chose to celebrate with one of my favourite hotels in Singapore, the Momentus Hotel. The team curated a special National Day menu just for the occasion, and true to their reputation, the service was nothing short of immaculate attentive without being intrusive, and warm in a way that made me feel right at HOME.

The highlight for me was the executive lounge. With its floor to ceiling windows, the lounge offered a sweeping view of the city skyline.

From this vantage point, I was fortunate to catch the iconic RSAF flypast, the breathtaking aerial display of fighter jets slicing through the sky, and the helicopters proudly carrying our national flag across the horizon.

As the evening settled, I even caught glimpses of the fireworks painting the night sky, as Singapore turned another year older.

The combination of thoughtful service, a celebratory menu, and the privilege of witnessing these national moments from such a serene setting wrapped up my day perfectly. This was not just a stay. It became a memory, etched into my travel diary, reminding me that sometimes the most meaningful journeys begin right where you are,HOME!
