🌍 Time Zones & Scheduling
All activities and shows are scheduled based on ship time, so don’t forget to adjust your watch accordingly after boarding.

💧 Water & Drinks
You’ll see many people bringing bottled water onboard, but don’t stress—just bring a reusable cup. Free ice water and hot water are available at all restaurants.
Coke and Diet Coke onboard are pricey (about $3–4 for a 355ml can). If you’re a soda lover, consider bringing your own. There’s also a soda package that comes with a stylish cup, giving you unlimited refills of Coke, Sprite, and more.

🍴 Dining Options
There are two main types of complimentary dining:
• Buffet style 🍽️
• Sit-down with appetizer, main course, and dessert 🍷
Both are fresh, varied, nutritious, and pretty tasty.

🌬️ Weather & Pools
The deck can get chilly and windy, so dress a bit warmer than you would on land. Luckily, the indoor pool is heated and very comfortable.

⚓ Shore Excursions
• If the port is close to the city, exploring on your own is super convenient.
• In Korea, taxis can be tricky to get (especially if the port is far from the city). Some people have even gone back to the wrong port! In these cases, group tours can be a safer choice.

🛂 Documents & Disembarkation
• For Japan, you’ll need a passport copy. Bring one in advance.
• For Korea, they’ll hand you your original passport.
• Group tours meet on a designated deck, while free travelers are told to collect a number, but in practice, no one checks those numbers when leaving the ship. 😉

🎭 Entertainment & Activities
• Options include ping-pong, basketball, and a gym (note: it closes at 9 p.m.).
• Can’t finish your workout? Burn calories on the dance floor instead 💃.
• Shows include musicals and performances with a strong American style. Some require reservations, but most are open entry.

💳 Payments
All onboard spending is charged directly to your room card and settled at the end of your trip.

🛳️ Boarding & Disembarking
• On embarkation day, you’ll get a sequence number after security, but it doesn’t really matter.
• On the last day, disembarkation usually starts around 7 a.m.
