Take a tour of a landmark for art and history lovers: the National Gallery Singapore. It's the largest art gallery in Singapore, housing both contemporary and ancient art dating back to the founding of the nation. In addition to domestic works, it also houses works by international artists. If you're not into art, we highly recommend this renovated building, a neoclassical architectural style blended with modern technology, offering many beautiful photo opportunities. Since we were staying in Chinatown, we took the bus from Chinatown MRT station to Old Hill Street Police Station, then walked a short distance. The entrance fee is SGD 20. You can book in advance on Trip.com. It's open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, so we think half a day is perfect.
