day1️⃣ - Arrived at 8 PM, grabbed our luggage and headed straight to the hotel, then went to the night market
Lau Pa Sat Night Market: A night market even Charmaine Sheh has checked in at! There are lots of food options inside 🍜 The most famous is definitely Best Satay 7&8, which is really 🔥 but the queue for satay was too long, so we chose the skewers next door and some fried kway teow! Very delicious!!
day2️⃣ Plaza Singapura - Fort Canning Park - Old Hill Street Police Station - Merlion Park - Gardens by the Bay - Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall
The second day was quite packed
Plaza Singapura: A park with a very Western vibe, not big, you can finish walking around quickly. There are restaurants inside, so you can dine there if you get tired
Fort Canning Park: Famous for the tree hole photo spot, but it was too crowded 😂 so we didn’t take photos. Actually, there are many other beautiful spots in the park; just wandering around you can find great photo angles
Old Hill Street Police Station: Colorful exterior walls, great for photos, but remember to be careful when taking pictures by the roadside (it’s right behind Fort Canning Park)
Merlion Park: Singapore’s iconic landmark, a must-visit spot for tourists
Gardens by the Bay: Truly a city garden, they even have indoor gardens with air conditioning. Every plant is carefully maintained. Gardens by the Bay is large and divided into several pavilions
These attractions are all close to each other, so you can cover them in one day
Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall: Very large inside, with Venetian-style boats, a great place to eat and drink
day3️⃣ Sentosa Universal Studios - Beach
One of the must-visit spots in Sentosa. No one can dislike Universal Studios, right? Although small, it has everything you need. After Universal Studios, head to the beach to watch the sunset—simply amazing
day4️⃣ National Gallery Singapore - Chinatown - Orchard Road
If you can only visit one exhibition in Singapore, it has to be the National Gallery, the house of art
The photo-worthy spots are free to enter; other exhibitions inside require tickets
Then head to Chinatown for food and drinks. You must try the 99 Old Tree Durian, which is also near Chinatown. After that, go back to Orchard Road for some shopping. Day 4 was a relaxed city walk, slowly soaking in the vibes of Singapore
day5️⃣ Jewel Changi Airport - Go home
On the last day, you can arrive early at the airport and explore Jewel Changi. The giant waterfall is inside Jewel. It’s a big mall, and terminals T1-T3 are connected by a small train. T4 is a separate terminal but requires a shuttle bus transfer
⚠️ Transportation in Singapore is very convenient. Using local taxi apps is not expensive
Singapore really has no flaws except the heat. Everywhere you go, you see lush greenery. Green is truly a color full of hope. I love this city garden so much!
