Review of traveling in Singapore… A small city full of brightness and charming stories
Hello everyone~ Today Boom will take you all to travel in Singapore. Let me tell you, this small country is super cute! It’s clean, modern, and full of beautiful photo spots that anyone who visits will fall in love with. So, pack your bags and follow Boom on this trip together!
⸻
Day 1: Enjoying the highlights at Jewel Changi Airport
The moment I arrived in Singapore, I was extremely impressed because Changi Airport is beyond description! Jewel Changi is a must-visit highlight. The huge glass dome with the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, cascades down surrounded by lush greenery, creating a very refreshing atmosphere. I spent a long time walking around taking photos. This place feels like a beautiful urban garden with restaurants, cute cafes, and dessert shops that made me want to try everything.
I secretly loved the dessert and drink shops here a lot. The sweetness was just right, not too heavy, and the atmosphere gave off a Korean vibe. Overall, this airport felt like the perfect start to the trip.
⸻
Day 2: Having a blast at Sentosa Island
The first serious day of sightseeing was day two. I chose to go to Sentosa Island, which is a fun hub for everyone. There’s Universal Studios Singapore, a super popular amusement park. I was so excited! There were so many rides to enjoy all day without getting bored.
I rode the thrilling Transformers ride, the fun and exciting Jurassic Park, and Madagascar, which is perfect for those who want to chill. I ran around until I was tired but very happy.
Besides that, Sentosa also has beautiful beaches to relax and take stylish photos, plus cold ice cream shops to cool off. In this hot weather, ice cream really saves the day.
⸻
Day 3: Exploring the Gardens by the Bay
The next day, I spent time walking around Gardens by the Bay, a large botanical garden with the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, which are so beautiful it feels like stepping into a fairy tale.
I liked the Cloud Forest the most because it has a large indoor waterfall and a cool, comfortable atmosphere, like escaping the heat outside. There are many photo spots in this garden, from vibrant flowers to tall steel tree structures called Supertree Grove.
In the evening, Supertree Grove has a stunning light and sound show that looks like little stars in the sky. I sat and watched with others who came to admire the beauty. I feel this is one of the must-visit places.
⸻
Day 4: Taking in city views at Marina Bay Sands
I want to share my impression of Marina Bay Sands, the tall building that is a landmark of Singapore. Going up to the chic rooftop to see the view made me feel that Singapore is both modern and charming at the same time.
The view is 360 degrees, with sparkling lights from tall buildings and yachts sailing by. I liked the twilight the most because the sky changes to beautiful colors.
There’s also a grand water and light show. Anyone who loves shows will definitely enjoy this place. I watched for about half an hour and got so absorbed I lost track of time.
⸻
Day 5: Shopping and tasting food at Orchard Road
Anyone visiting Singapore must stop by Orchard Road, the real shopping street! This road is full of many shopping malls and beautiful stores where you can pick up souvenirs, daily items, and lots of cute things.
I tried authentic Singaporean dishes like Laksa with rich flavors and Chili Crab that was spicy and delicious enough to give a thumbs up. I secretly love these dishes because they make me feel the culture and true spirit of Singapore.
I walked around and bought cute souvenirs to give to my friends at home. Shopping, eating, and having fun all in one day.
⸻
What I liked most about Singapore
• The city’s cleanliness – it’s very clean with no trash on the streets
• The MRT transportation system is convenient and easy to use
• People speak English well and are friendly
• A perfect blend of nature and modernity
• Delicious and diverse food with many cute shops to try
⸻
Little tips for friends traveling to Singapore
• Buy an EZ-Link card or Tourist Pass for easy MRT rides
• Carry a small umbrella because it can rain anytime
• Wear comfortable shoes because there’s a lot of walking
• Don’t forget to respect Singapore’s rules for a fun and safe trip
⸻
Summary of impressions from this trip
Singapore is a small country full of charm, brightness, and modernity. I loved every moment I experienced, from the city’s beautiful views, cleanliness, and good systems to the food and friendly people.
If anyone is hesitating about visiting Singapore, I say “Go for it! It’s really great!” I plan to come back for sure and want to invite all my friends to experience it themselves.
