National Gallery Singapore หอศิลป์แห่งชาติสิงคโปร์

The National Gallery Singapore houses a diverse collection of art, including paintings, photographs, and sculptures by a diverse group of artists. It's also a great place to admire Singapore's unique architecture, perfect for art lovers. The gallery is divided into zones with exhibition rooms, which change periodically and with seasonal events.

The National Gallery Singapore offers a free zone where visitors can explore the interior architecture and general grounds, including the main hall with its beautiful staircase and some of the exhibition rooms. A section focusing on the history of the gallery and Singapore is particularly noteworthy. The zones showcasing specific art exhibits require an admission fee. Personally, I think I could spend an entire day just exploring the free zone, as it's so vast. The paid section is also quite interesting, but I didn't visit it because I spent half a day wandering around the free zone.

Getting there: Take the MRT North South Line 25/East West Line 13 to City Hall Station. It's a 5-7 minute walk to the National Gallery Singapore.
