While the hotel is a grand old building, the rooms cleverly blend heritage charm with contemporary necessities. Our Premier Courtyard Room was spacious, incredibly quiet, and appointed with supremely comfortable bedding. The attention to detail was evident, from the high-quality Balmain bathroom amenities to the filtered water tap and the high-tech smart toilet—small details that make a huge difference in comfort. We loved the ample workspace and the generous supply of Nespresso and TWG tea. Although the decor is classic and understated, not flashy, it provides an elegant and calming sanctuary after the hustle and bustle of downtown Singapore.
