Experience at Tokyo Ueno Nohga Hotel|An Affordable Hidden Gem with Explosive Value!

During the May Day holiday, Tokyo hotel prices skyrocketed. I originally had a mindset of settling for something, but unexpectedly became a fan of Ueno Nohga Hotel! The usual price is about 2k, and the price increase during May Day was surprisingly moderate. After booking blindly and checking in, I felt like I got a great deal!

Although the room setup is similar to domestic Atour and Mercure hotels, being able to easily open a suitcase is already very satisfying~ The thoughtful design details are even more considerate: you can choose a room without a bathtub, instantly saving a few hundred yen. The wet and dry separation is done to perfection, and the bathroom even has a separate dressing area; the bedside B&O sound system is excellent, and even when fully booked, you can’t hear any noise from neighbors—soundproofing is truly top-notch! Even more rare is that the window can be opened, which is practically a "rare species" in Japanese hotels!

The front desk amenities are free to take, with high-quality wooden toothbrushes and razors. The small bottles of Sekkisei skincare products are especially tempting to "help yourself"~ Breakfast uses a combination of à la carte and buffet style. The five set meals, including Eggs Benedict and Japanese-style grilled fish (a bit salty), are all safe choices, and the honey at the buffet area is a big plus!

The public areas hide even more surprises: the French restaurant on the first floor glows with candlelight in the evening, crowded with Europeans and Americans, and has excellent online reviews; the second-floor "lounge" lets you exchange coins for drinks, with four alcoholic beverages at a great value (choose juices carefully!); the laundry room equipment is quirky—it only accepts 100 yen coins but even has a foreign currency exchange machine! The gym is small but has adjustable dumbbells up to 35kg per side, perfectly meeting the needs of fitness enthusiasts for quick workouts 💪

This hotel perfectly embodies "spending little money to live with a high-end feel." Whether you’re a budget traveler or a careful planner, it’s highly recommended to book!
