Merlion Park

Address: 1 Fullerton Rd, Singapore 049213

Highlights:
One of the most famous attractions in Singapore, a must visit for visitors. Merlion is the official mascot of Singapore. It is depicted as a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. The Merlion's fish-like body symbolises Singapore's origins as a fishing village, known as Temasek—a name which comes from same root as the word tasek ('lake' in Malay). The statue's head represents the city's original name of Singapura (lion city in Sanskrit)

Great night view of the Marina Bay Sand Towers. Cruise or boat ride is available which you may learn educational information throughout the cruise, and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city noise.

A lot of restaurants along the way, Western cuisine, Bar for drinks, Chinese seafood, Mos Burger Fast Food, ice cream etc. Easy accessible by public transport.
