Masjid Sultan🕌 Singapore

Masjid Sultan🕌 Another place with beauty
Inside is the Sultan Mosque
(Sultan Mosque) beautiful and magnificent in the Kampong Glam area, which is historically important and is the center of the Muslim community in Singapore.

Magnificent and worthy of the Sultan

This mosque was built in 1824 to honor Sultan Hussein Shah, the first Sultan of Singapore.

Information that almost no one knows is that during the renovation of this mosque, the government had to build North Bridge Road to turn around this mosque. Because this road was extended until it went past Arab Street.

⏰ Opening hours
Opening-closing hours: Open every day, 2 periods: 9:30-12:00 and 14:00-16:00

Except Fridays, which are only open in the afternoon from 14:00-16:00

🚗 How to get there
Singapore's Sultan Mosque is located next to Arab Street, closest to Bugis MRT Station. There are 2 lines passing through: the Downtown Line and the East West Line. Take Exit B and walk towards Raffles Hospital until you reach the intersection, then turn right and walk onto Ophir Road. When you reach the first intersection with North Birdge Road, cross the road to the left and walk straight ahead until you see the mosque in front of you.
