A couple of weeks ago, I took a trip to Singapore to visit my relatives and stayed at The Sultan Heritage Hotel. Nestled in the vibrant Kampong Glam area, this refined boutique hotel is housed within a Colonial-style townhouses surrounded by interesting character, history, and lively nightlife.
The warmly decorated rooms feature a blend of heritage charm and modern comfort, equipped with high-speed Internet, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffee-making facilities. A breakfast buffet is served in a sleek restaurant, and guests can unwind at the vibrant bar or enjoy live tunes in the jazz lounge.
What I loved most is its top-notch location — just a few steps away from the Sultan Mosque and Arab Street, a short 7-minute walk from Lavender MRT station, and around 2.5 km from the iconic Singapore Flyer and Suntec City. The area is filled with charming cafes and eateries; I especially enjoyed a delightful Turkish dinner with my relatives nearby. The next morning, we took a peaceful stroll and visited the beautiful Sultan Mosque.
Overall, The Sultan offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and comfort — an ideal stay for those who wish to experience Singapore’s heritage charm in style.
