Today, I will write about the photo zone of Sokcho, Gangwon-do, and the best places to take great photos.

1️⃣ Sokcho Ai + Sokcho Beach
📍Joyang-dong, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do
⏰ Swimming hours 9:00~18:00

Sokcho Beach is a famous place where Sokcho Ai can be seen at a glance.

I visited after checking out of my accommodation in the morning, and there were many people walking, swimming, and taking pictures from the morning.

There were also many people walking and picnicking at night. The Sokcho sea at night was green and sparkled even more beautifully.

If you take a picture with the green sea, you can take a picture of your life.

And the place where the sign and Sokcho Ai can be seen together is the prettiest in the picture. Please make sure to take a picture at the place where you can see the sign. 🩵

2️⃣ ‘Cafe Gwit’ Large bakery cafe with Ulsanbawi view

📍 Gangwon Sokcho-si Wonamhaksapyeong-gil 60 (Nohak-dong)

It is a Sokcho cafe with a view, so the business hours are somewhat short, but it is a cafe with a good view of Ulsanbawi from the inside and outside terrace.

The exterior of the cafe is unique, and the buildings are nice in every corner, so it is a place where you can take good pictures. It is a good place for those who are looking for a cafe with a photo of their life in Sokcho, Gangwon-do.

3️⃣ ‘Hadomun Sokcho’ A quiet and modern cafe
⏰ 11:00~18:00 (Regularly closed every Tuesday)
📍 Gangwon Sokcho-si Hadomun-gil 50 Hadomun Sokcho

It is a charming cafe with a large tree growing between the cafe buildings. The building itself is modern and clean, and the green trees add to the nature-friendly atmosphere of the cafe.

If you take a picture of the tree and the building together, you can get a great photo.

The inside looks much more spacious than it looks from the outside, and there are group seats, window seats, and terrace seats.

It's a great cafe to enjoy signature coffee and various desserts together.

4️⃣ 'P.E.I coffee' Tongchang Ocean View Cafe

📍 Gangwon Yangyang-gun Ganghyeon-myeon Donghae-daero 3539 PEI coffee

The cafe is a rooftop cafe from the 1st to 3rd floors, and the photo zone is located on the rooftop.

The photo zone is a space where the floor is filled with water, and when the weather is good, the sky is reflected on the floor, which is a sentimental and pretty place.

The 1st and 2nd floors have a full-length window view, so if you sit at the window seat and take a picture, you'll probably get a great photo.

The 2nd floor seats are uniquely tiered and divided into sitting and table seats, so it would be nice to sit comfortably according to your preference.

Sokcho has many pretty places, so it's a great travel destination to take photos of your life while traveling! I think it would be good for those who are going to Sokcho, Gangwon-do for their summer vacation to take note :)
