Yeonggeumjeong: A Beautiful Sunset Spot in Sokcho

Yeonggeumjeong is located at the beach under Sokcho Lighthouse in Dongmyeong-dong, Sokcho City, where large and wide rocks are spread out!

🌊 When the waves hit the rocks, it creates a mysterious sound that resembles the sound of a 'geomungo' (a traditional Korean string instrument), which is why it is called Yeonggeumjeong.

🌊 There are two pavilions, and I recommend visiting both. The view from the pavilion located higher up is especially stunning!

🌊 Known for its sunrise and night views, the sunset was also incredibly beautiful. The sight of the waves crashing against the rocks was truly mesmerizing.

🌊 Below Yeonggeumjeong, there is the Dongmyeong-dong Fish Market, so you can also have dinner there. Visiting in the evening is a great idea!
