⭐Rating (out of 5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

✈️Travel Review:
In a quiet alleyway in front of Jangsaeng Port in Sokcho, the simple yet warm restaurant "Mannanengi Gamjaongsimi" truly captured the flavors of Gangwon-do. The chewy and rich Gamjaongsimi was filling and satisfying, and the kimchi pancake, generously filled with squid and kimchi, was the epitome of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Eating this heartwarming meal while enjoying the ocean breeze filled my heart.

📍Directions:
Take Bus No. 1 from Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal and get off at the "Jangsa Port Entrance" stop (approximately 20 minutes).
It's less than a 5-minute walk from the stop.

🌿Attractions:
Jangsa Port Beach: The perfect place for a post-meal stroll along the ocean.
Yeonggeumjeong Pavilion: A 10-minute walk away, offering breathtaking views of Sokcho's beautiful beaches.
Sokcho Lighthouse Observatory: A quiet and serene vantage point.

🏨Hotel:
Ranam Mae House Airbnb
This charming accommodation is located right in front of Jangsa Port. The clean interior is impressive. I enjoyed the comfort of an Airbnb and the meticulous attention to detail of the owner. I especially enjoyed the quiet nighttime sea view while staying here.

🍽️Recommended Food & Restaurants:
Manna Neungi Gamja Ongsimi
The Sunongsimi had a rich, savory broth and plump potato ongsimi, with a subtle lingering aroma of neungi, creating a luxurious flavor. The squid kimchi pancake, a true Sokcho favorite, boasted a generous portion of squid, and the rich kimchi flavor really whetted my appetite.
The interior has a warm, traditional atmosphere, making it a great choice for families and travelers traveling with older adults!

🛍️Shopping Information:
The area around Jangsaeng Market has more small seafood shops and food stalls than fish markets, making it a great place to pick up small quantities of dried squid or salted seafood.
A trip to Sokcho Central Market (10 minutes away by car) offers a variety of Sokcho-specific foods and souvenirs, including squid sundae (squid sundae), dried fish, and hoe naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles).

👍🏻Recommended Traveler Style:
Recommended for couples and families who enjoy food tours, or travelers who value quiet accommodations and a hearty meal. It's an even better destination for those who want to relax and unwind while gazing at the ocean.

🥰Traveler Review:
A day in Sokcho, filled with warm soup and the scent of the sea, was a warming experience for both the palate and the soul.
