A day trip to Sokcho for Koreans!

Sokcho Korean Rules Course

Sokcho Beach > Stingray Stew > Emotional Cafe > Jungang Market

I went on a weekday afternoon, and there were surprisingly more people enjoying the ocean at Sokcho Beach.

🐟Sokcho Baegae Stew
Stingray Stew Medium: 55,000 won
> Mild yet savory, and delicious mixed with rice!

There was no wait and I was satisfied. / The side dishes that came with it were delicious, too!

Cafe Aqua Forest Sokcho
> I've posted a detailed review separately on Moment.
> Recommended if you love fish and want a natural ambiance! > There's more seating inside, so if you have bad legs, it might be difficult.

Jungang Market > Even on weekdays, most of the popular stores have a wait.

> It took 30 minutes to get the scorched rice, squid, and sundae. ㅠㅠ

Jungang Market "Megaro"
If you're looking to buy salted seafood, I recommend Megaro. The front, crowded areas are expensive for salted seafood. Go to the back and you'll find it a bit cheaper.
> I think Megaro is the best value for money. I always buy paji and myeongran (spicy pollack roe) when I go to Sokcho!

Sokcho, Gangwon-do, is perfect for a casual one-night or day trip!
