7-Day Itinerary for Kushiro, Kamikawa Town, Furano, and More

8/28-8/29: Kushiro experienced some light rain, but it was brief, and the temperature at 19°C was perfect for a summer getaway. The view of the sea from the Moo Bridge was stunning. The charcoal grill restaurant "Tantouyaki" was fully booked even on a weekday, so reservations are a must. The ambiance inside the restaurant looked very cozy. In the morning, we visited Washo Market to enjoy king crab, flower crab, and sashimi. Nearby stalls sell rice, allowing you to create your own DIY rice bowl. After purchasing the king crab and flower crab, the vendor kindly heated and prepared them for easy consumption. Washo Market also offers parking and has shops selling souvenirs, melons, cheese, and yogurt. At the entrance, you can buy freshly baked bread from local vendors.
