Songkhla is a small town with a very Southeast Asian style, located in southern Thailand, close to Malaysia. For us Taiwanese, this place is not as touristy as Bangkok or Chiang Mai, but more simple and leisurely. For example, the famous Tangkuan Mountain in the local area, you can take the elevator to overlook the entire Songkhla city and Songkhla Lake, and take in the sea and lake views at once, which is super healing.
There is also the famous mermaid statue, which is right on the beach. Although it feels a bit like a tourist taking photos and checking in, it is really cute when you see it in person.
