It has snowed in Huanglong, Sichuan. To have a great time, just remember these points

① About walking 💃🏼
Don’t think about hiking up the mountain 🧗🏽‍♀️ and taking the cable car down 🚡, that could take five to six hours and be exhausting. Also, don’t think about taking the cable car both up and down 🚡, as you’ll miss 2/3 of the scenery. The best way is to take the cable car up 🚡 and walk down 🚶‍♀️. Also, both the cable car 🚡 and sightseeing bus 🚌 need to be booked online 1-2 weeks in advance. The sightseeing bus often sells out, but it’s not a big deal.

② Personal items 📒
Don’t bring too much. Although things up there are expensive, hot water is provided for free. For oxygen, you can buy a tube for 2 yuan and use it along the way, basically free. Some items like water and snacks are about twice the usual price. 🈶 Grilled sausage costs 10 yuan each. 🉑 Bring your phone 📱 + an empty cup 🥛 + a chocolate bar 🍫 + a simple raincoat 👌🏻.

③ Five-Color Pond
Even if you feel uncomfortable, try your best to walk to the middle because the essence of Huanglong is here, and it’s not easy to come all this way.

④ Restrooms
There are restrooms 🚾 along the way, with hot water for washing hands, which is quite good. No need to queue at the entrance 👏🏻.

⑤ Clothing
Wear onion-style layers 🧅, a three-piece set of outdoor jackets is 🉑.

⑥ Accommodation
Stay nearby, and don’t go to Songpan!!! The bus 🚌 from Songpan to Huanglong is suspended due to road construction everywhere. Chuanzhusi is also not recommended because of traffic jams. If you arrive late, the cable car entrance 🚡 can have 2-3 hour queues. If that happens, it’s recommended to hike up the mountain; you can reach halfway in 2 hours, and the scenery is beautiful 🎉.
