Tainan-A local fried lamb dish in a coastal town: Meewanli lamb

I came here specially after seeing the introduction of this place on TV. It is located in Wanli, a remote area in the southern part of Tainan City, close to the seaport. It seems that the area around Wanli and Gangshan raises local sheep and has slaughterhouses, so fresh lamb dishes and lamb hot pot are very famous.

#咩湾里炒羊肉 is located on the main road of Xingnan Street. The big sign and decoration give it the atmosphere of a local chicken restaurant or a hot stir-fry restaurant. The menu has a wide variety of mutton dishes, including mutton hotpot, mutton soup, mutton fried rice/noodles, fried mutton, and even sesame oil fried lamb brains!

The two of them ordered mutton belly soup, mutton offal soup, fried mutton with kale and fried mutton skin with onions. Mutton is more expensive than beef, with a bowl of soup starting at 200 yuan, and the same goes for fried mutton. The taste is quite fresh and tender, at least there is no smell of lamb, the aroma of the wok is quite fragrant, and the seasoning is not too heavy. The overall taste is ok, but not too amazing.
