The local library #Yancheng Library located in the South District of Tainan City is a three-story distinctive building designed by the designer of the Chi Mei Museum. The exterior is in the form of stacked books, symbolizing the crystallization of knowledge, echoing the local characteristics of the library and Yancheng, namely the salt-drying industry.

The main space of the library is a staircase leading directly to the third floor. The right half is for walking up and down, and the left half is a seat for reading. It is matched with a whole row of trough-shaped bookcases on the left, which are stacked layer by layer and are quite spectacular. The roof is made of glass, allowing natural light to penetrate and creating a bright and spacious reading space.

Although it is a small library, it is both functional and aesthetic. The library space is planned based on the principle of age and audience segmentation, with newspaper reading areas, infant and toddler areas, children's areas, etc. to meet the needs of readers of all ages. It is a modern library that combines digital and traditional, technology and humanities, reading and leisure.

The nearby attractions include the newly completed 7-ELEVEn Capital store, the 7,000th in Taiwan, as well as Starbucks and Cosmetics, which are all new check-in destinations.
