Oh Poi Market, see, taste, shop for products from the Suan Phueng community

Oh Poi Market, a new tourist attraction in Suan Phueng, is a Karen community market located in front of Wat Pa Thamakham, along the Pachi River. The highlight at 8:00 a.m. is when monks sit on rafts floating in the water to collect alms, allowing people to make merit by offering food to monks. Oh Poi Market is like a community market selling handmade products and OTOP products. If you visit Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi, you should visit this place. The market atmosphere is shady and there are many people, both tourists and locals. Inside the market, the concept is to save the world, separate waste, use containers made from nature, and reduce plastic use. There are volunteer children who come to collect used containers all the time. You can sit and eat cheap and delicious local food by the stream, dangling your legs, listening to the sound of flowing water, very chill, and very natural. After you are full, walk around and see cute local products to support the community and earn income. There are also cute performances by the Karen people to welcome tourists.

Opening hours: Open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Location: In front of Wat Pa Thamakham, Tanawsri Subdistrict, Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province
