Tucked away between Koenji and Nakano, NOSTALGIA CAFE is a cozy spot serving New York–style deli dishes with a modern twist.

For lunch, we tried the meatballs, which come with plenty of customization options — choose your sauce (like tomato, onion cream, or spicy), and pick your side from focaccia, rice, or pasta. You can even decide between three or four meatballs, making it easy to create your perfect plate!

The meatballs themselves were juicy, hearty, and packed with spice — just the right balance of comfort and flavor. Both the tomato and onion cream sauces were delicious and complemented the rich meat perfectly.
