Tucked away in the retro charm of Hikifune, LUNA bonbon sweets & tea is a unique pop-up café open only on Saturdays, located inside New Hikifune — a creative complex themed around “food” and “work.” This cozy café officially opened on March 1, 2025, making it a fresh addition to Tokyo’s café scene.

Finding it is part of the adventure: wander through a narrow alley between two old buildings, and you’ll discover a beautifully renovated traditional house café with a quirky and artistic interior. It’s the kind of hidden spot that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a local secret.

We ordered the cherry tart, which was perfectly balanced — sweet, tangy, and beautifully presented. Between bites and conversation, it was easy to lose track of time in this relaxing space.
