Sumoto's Benten Itsukushima Shrine (Awaji Island Benzaiten)

The main deity is Ichikishimahime-no-Mikoto, and the shrine's blessings include road safety, business prosperity, and academic success. Locals affectionately call her Benten-san. It happened to be the day of the annual Benten Festival. The shrine was bustling with pedestrians and food stalls.
