Spring Outing to Sun Moon Lake and Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village

This time, I visited Sun Moon Lake and the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village in Nantou. The overall experience was fantastic! First, the breathtaking scenery of Sun Moon Lake was simply mesmerizing. Taking a boat ride on the lake, I was surrounded by lush green mountains, crystal-clear waters, and a gentle breeze that made me feel utterly relaxed. What captivated me the most was the small island in the middle of the lake, harmonizing beautifully with the distant mountain ranges—truly a paradise for photography enthusiasts. The lakeside cycling path is also perfect for a leisurely ride, allowing you to soak in the surrounding beauty and fully immerse yourself in nature.

Next, I headed to the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, which uniquely combines indigenous culture with amusement park attractions. The first area I explored was the cultural zone, where I could see traditional costumes, architecture, and performances from various indigenous tribes, feeling the warmth and rich history of the aboriginal people. The most impressive part was the indigenous dance performances, which were incredibly dynamic and rhythmic, leaving me in awe. After passing through the cultural zone, I entered the theme park area, featuring thrilling rides like roller coasters and observation towers, catering to visitors of all ages.

The highlight of the visit was taking the cable car to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the entire Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. The aerial perspective offered a completely different and stunning view. Overall, the serene beauty of Sun Moon Lake combined with the lively atmosphere of the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village makes it a perfect destination for relaxation and learning. It's definitely worth a visit!
