The "Xiaoqilai Trail" is a less popular attraction in Hehuan Mountain. Along the way, you can see the Qilai Mountains, Jushan Mountain, Yangtou Mountain and the upper valley of Liwu River. Xiaoqilai is a ridge between Hehuan Mountain and Qilai Mountain. The highest point is 3,150 meters above sea level. On clear days, you can even see the main peak of Yushan Mountain in the distance.

You don't need to apply for a mountain pass to enter the trail. In April and May, when the flowers are in full bloom, red and white wild azaleas bloom along the trail. It is rare in Taiwan to have such a vast and magnificent scenic spot without crowds. You can only hear the natural sounds of nature in peace.
