Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, Suphan Buri

Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, Suphan Buri, is an important temple in Suphan Buri. There is no clear evidence of when it was built. Inside the temple are important ancient sites, including the Phra Prang, which is the main chedi of the temple, an early Ayutthaya period art temple; two octagonal chedis located to the east of the Phra Prang; an ubosot (ordination hall), a small viharn (wihan), and the remains of two smaller chedis to the west of the prang. In addition, there are a number of sandstone Buddha images inside the viharn in front of the prang.
