Located on Dinghui Temple Lane, Phoenix Street, Suzhou Twin Towers are also known as Luohan Temple Twin Towers. They were built during the Taiping Xingguo period of the Northern Song Dynasty. The two towers are almost identical in appearance, each with 7 floors. The east tower is 33.3 meters high, while the west tower is slightly higher at 33.7 meters. The twin towers are a pair of pagodas, and the distance between them is only about 20 meters. These twin towers are the only ones in China that are so close to each other. The construction of two towers so close together requires a very high standard for the foundation, which demonstrates the scientific and exquisite architecture and the extraordinary wisdom of the ancient working people. The Suzhou Twin Towers and the remains of the main hall are now listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit.
