Tiger Hill Scenic Area → Shantang Street → Humble Administrator's Garden → Suzhou Museum → Pingjiang Road → "Suzhou Locals Tour Suzhou" Experience Store → Wu Zuoren Art Museum → The Gate of the Orient → Jinji Lake Scenic Area
1. **Tiger Hill Scenic Area**:
One of Suzhou's iconic attractions, known as the "Top Scenic Spot in Wu." Highlights include Tiger Hill Pagoda and Sword Pond, along with insights into Suzhou's history and culture.
2. **Shantang Street**:
Dubbed the "No. 1 Street of Gusu," it offers picturesque views of Jiangnan water towns—perfect for photography lovers. Don’t miss local delicacies like sweet and sour mandarin fish and eel paste.
3. **Humble Administrator's Garden**:
A masterpiece of classical Jiangnan gardens, ranked first among China’s "Four Great Gardens." Its pavilions, towers, and winding corridors showcase the elegance of Jiangnan-style landscaping.
Ticket: ¥80/person; book 3 days in advance via "Suzhou Garden Tourism."
4. **Suzhou Museum**:
Designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei, this museum blends modern architecture, ancient structures, and innovative landscape gardens. Explore cultural exhibits and admire the building’s design.
Free admission but extremely hard to book—reserve 7 days in advance at 8 AM via "Suzhou Museum Official."
5. **Pingjiang Road**:
A historic street preserving Ming-Qing era architecture and traditions. Stroll along to enjoy the nightscape and immerse in Suzhou’s timeless charm.
6. **"Suzhou Locals Tour Suzhou" Experience Store**:
Located at the intersection of Fenghuang Street and Dinghui Temple Lane in the old town, it features Suzhou-style bonsai, fans, and Chengni stone carvings. The third floor offers a prime view of the Twin Pagodas (check out photo spot P7).
7. **Wu Zuoren Art Museum**:
Houses a vast collection of Wu Zuoren’s paintings and documents, revealing his artistic journey. (Another great spot for Twin Pagodas photos!)
8. **The Gate of the Orient**:
A Suzhou landmark standing 301.8 meters tall, one of the world’s largest gate-shaped buildings. The observation deck offers panoramic city views, especially stunning at night over Jinji Lake.
9. **Jinji Lake Scenic Area**:
The core attraction of Suzhou Industrial Park. Walk, cycle, or take a boat ride to enjoy the lake and mountain scenery. Arrive before sunset for a romantic view of the Gate of the Orient’s lights.
