Great for a Family-Friendly Adventure

My family and I had a fantastic time visiting Tongli Ancient Town. It's a great destination for a family day trip, as the town is compact and easy to explore on foot. My kids loved the boat ride along the canals. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the place through the many historic halls and gardens. The town has a calm, charming feel to it, and while there are touristy elements, it doesn't feel overly commercialized. The ticket buying process was easy, and we appreciated that the ticket covers access to several attractions. It was a very enjoyable day that offered a glimpse into ancient China.
Tips:
* The boat ride is a big hit with children and offers a new perspective on the town.
* Pack some water and snacks, especially if you have children, as you'll be walking around for several hours.
