The historic Suzhou Shantang Street, also known as "Seven Li Shantang," is a canal-side street dating back to the Tang Dynasty some 1,200 years ago, and is one of Suzhou's most iconic tourist attractions!
The roughly 3.5km (seven li) street is lined with traditional white-walled, black-tiled buildings, offering a waterside vibe that's typical of Suzhou. 🏮
We highly recommend strolling around and enjoying the historic atmosphere while sampling local delicacies!
📍Access: Right next to Shantang Street Station on Subway Line 2
⏰ Free entry to the street (boat fare: approximately NT$40-50)
