Subo Su-style Aesthetic Peak

While other Park Hyatt hotels pursue height, Subo is nestled among the mid-to-low-rise buildings along Jinji Lake.

Subo's owner is Gold Mantis, a leading company in the architectural decoration industry, which guarantees Subo's quality.

The design was led by KPF, the New York architectural firm behind the Shanghai World Financial Center, with interior spaces completed by HBA.

Subo takes Su-style elements to the extreme.

The reception area adopts the traditional three-entry layout of a grand residence. The first entry features a transparent roof with a high atrium and a semi-hollow screen, using natural light to create a poetic play of light and shadow. The second entry displays official and wedding sedan chairs, symbolizing continuous promotion and happiness. The third entry is the check-in area, showcasing artworks with Jiangnan charm.

The hotel’s landscape design is equally thoughtful. The koi pond is planted with century-old Japanese black pines, inhabited by koi fish over one meter in length, and features a white horse sculpture, forming a vivid oriental painting.

Begonia flowers serve as the design theme throughout the hotel, visible in their exquisite shapes everywhere. The main color tone, peacock blue, imparts a noble and serene atmosphere, with walls extensively clad in Italian Blue Gold Sand marble.

Guest rooms start at 60 square meters, also following the three-entry layout, cleverly separating the bedroom and living area. The begonia-shaped vanity mirror in the bathroom is stunning, equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and Le Labo’s custom Santal 33 series bath products with sandalwood fragrance.

The hotel breakfast is semi-buffet style, with highly praised Su-style Aozao noodles and duck blood vermicelli soup.

The 25-meter swimming pool is surrounded by gardens, with a glowing wall on the side that presents a jade-like texture.
