Found an amazing standalone Suzhou-style courtyard homestay near Pingjiang Road in Suzhou. Stayed with family and friends for a few days and didn’t want to leave! 😭

📍Dingxiang Courtyard Homestay

Located near Yingjiang Road, just a 3-minute walk to lively areas, yet tucked away quietly in an alley! The perfect balance of bustling and tranquility—just 15 minutes on foot to Suzhou Museum and the Humble Administrator’s Garden, super convenient for sightseeing, no more squeezing into the subway or hunting for parking!

🏡 Spacious rooms: a 198-square-meter two-story standalone villa with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 5 beds, accommodating up to 10 people! Our group of friends rented the whole villa, plenty of space with no crowding. If you want privacy, you can also choose a single room, very private! The courtyard is lush with flowers and plants; enjoy afternoon tea during the day and outdoor BBQs at night, the atmosphere is just perfect!

🎮 Board games and mahjong machine included! At night, everyone gathered around playing mahjong and board games, laughter never stopped. The best part is the owner is super thoughtful, asking in advance which mahjong style we play and setting up the machine for us so we could start right away! The living room also has toys for kids.

📺 Giant screen projection indoors! After watching the night view, cozy up on the sofa to watch movies, it feels just like a home theater, so comfortable!

🍳 The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and tableware, and they even thoughtfully prepared rice! If you want a light porridge in the morning, you can cook it yourself, warm and comforting. There’s also a washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, and other appliances, just like home! Every room has air conditioning, so you can stay cozy even when it’s cold.

🐾 Pet-friendly! We brought our dog, and the owner not only didn’t mind but also kindly helped walk our dog when we went out to play! They really understand pet owners’ hearts, so touching!

💁 When we arrived, the owner picked us up at the entrance and recommended parking lots at different price points, saving us a lot of hassle! They also provided us with dining and travel tips, telling us clearly which restaurants are good and which attractions are worth visiting, so no need to plan anything ourselves!

Nearby attractions are abundant: Lion Grove Garden, Pingjiang Road Historic District, Ou Garden, Guanqian Street, Suzhou Ancient Canal, night tour of the Humble Administrator’s Garden “Zhuozheng Wenya,” Suzhou Garden Museum—all the spots you want to visit are nearby, so you can explore for days without repeating!

Whether it’s a family gathering, friends’ team building, or a small celebration, this place is perfect! Comfortable and happy stay, plus you get to experience the leisurely charm of Gusu City. Truly unforgettable~ Already recommended it to many friends, and I want to stay here again next time I come to Suzhou!
