Cloudy Days & Cozy Vibes in Tongli: My Stay at Floral Hotel, Jianyuan ☁️🏮

Floral Hotel, Jianyuan totally nailed it for my getaway! First off, the location is a dream: you're right in Tongli Ancient Village (No.88, Shengtangqiao, Tongli Ancient Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou, China)—so you’re just steps away from all those iconic rivers, peaceful ponds, and ancient Chinese architecture. Even though the weather was cloudy and rainy when I visited, it kinda added extra moody vibes to the outdoor cultural landscape. Seriously, wandering through the village while everything glistened from the drizzle felt 😍.

The highlight for me? The hotel manager! ✨ She brewed up the yummiest coffee in the super charming onsite café—such a relaxing place to kick back after exploring. There’s something special about sipping coffee while looking out at leafy trees and traditional buildings up close.

And let’s talk about the food! Be sure to try their homemade desserts—SO cute and sooo good. Even on a rainy day, a warm cuppa and sweet treat made everything cozy.
