Suzhou Delta Park | Big Water Drop

Basic Information: Located in Suzhou, Anhui Province, between the Xinbian River and the Tuo River, west of Renmin Road, the park covers a triangular area of 2,300 mu, including the banks of the Bian River and the Tuo River. The core area is 1,520 mu, with a water area of about 810 mu. The park integrates ecology, nature, culture, and leisure, and is designed as "one core" and "two lines" with eight functional zones. It adopts advanced international garden planning and design concepts, and is built according to the concept of "ecology, nature, water-friendly, and simplicity." 
- Main Attractions: The Cultural Corridor is located at the south entrance, showcasing the history, culture, and customs of Suzhou. The Music Fountain Square is located at the north entrance, where water curtain movies are played on weekends. The fountain dances to the rhythm of the music, with flashing lights, creating a spectacular scene. The Lingbi Stone Garden displays various exquisite Lingbi stones, each with unique shapes and textures. The Bird Island in the center of the lake is a habitat for many bird species, where visitors can observe various birds up close. The Children's Playground features slides, swings, seesaws, and other play facilities, making it a paradise for children.
- Featured Architecture: The "Big Water Drop" is the iconic building of Suzhou Delta Park, standing 19 meters high with a diameter of 9.2 meters. It is made of 26 tons of stainless steel and 60,000 LED energy-saving colored lights. It symbolizes water as the source of life, reflecting Suzhou's historical connection with water, and serves as a unique regional symbol, carrying the city's memory and emotional identity for the people of Suzhou. 
- Park Functions: Ecologically, the park boasts rich vegetation and water areas, providing habitats for many plants and animals, playing an important role in maintaining the local ecological balance. For leisure, it offers family gathering areas, lakeside leisure areas, and is equipped with fitness squares, open-air theaters, and other facilities, suitable for family outings and outdoor exercises. Culturally, it showcases Suzhou's history, culture, and regional characteristics through cultural corridors and city sculptures. As a 3A-level scenic spot, it attracts many tourists for sightseeing and visits.
