🛕Puzhao Temple in Tai'an, whose name means "Buddha's light shines everywhere", is said to be an ancient temple of the Six Dynasties and belongs to the Linji sect of Zen Buddhism. It consists of the Main Hall, Six Dynasty Pines, Bamboo Forest, Siyue Pavilion, Zen Room, Bell and Drum Tower, Five-tone Stone, and a seven-story pagoda. A four-entry courtyard composed of a life-release pond and others.
The couplet at the gate of the temple "The long pine sifts the moon without distinguishing between the present and the past, and the black beans that have not sprouted can distinguish Confucianism and Buddhism." It pursues the "unity of the three religions", which is also the cultural embodiment of Mount Tai's inclusive spirit.
The Buddhist holy land is solemn and quiet. Walking in the ancient temple, you are surrounded by the fallen leaves of the ginkgo trees in autumn, which are spread all over the ground and are full of golden color. The commercial atmosphere in the temple is not strong, with red walls and green tiles, and smoke curling up from time to time. Magpies flew back and forth and cried, tourists knelt down and prayed devoutly, and the sound of monks singing scriptures could be heard in the distance.
