Built in 1937 during the Japanese colonial period
A martial arts hall for prison officers and police officers to practice martial arts on a daily basis
It is the only remaining martial arts arena in Taichung City.
The historical original appearance is well preserved
Great value for preservation, reuse and architectural research
The martial arts field complex includes the main building of the martial arts field and the auxiliary buildings on the east side. The main building is built in a symmetrical pattern.
There is a shrine at the rear of the center
Facing the shrine, the left side is the judo field, and the right side is the kendo field.
There are only seats on one side of the martial arts arena.
Compared with the similar building Wude Hall of the same period
Smaller martial arts facility
The architectural style is a typical drill ground during the Japanese occupation period
The base is raised, and the facade imitates the wooden structure and pilaster decoration
Roof-in-roof construction
It is decorated with large ghost tiles and wind panels.
