Taichung Suzuka Street

On the first floor of Taichung Station, there is a beautifully lined food street. Next to it, the magnificent old station building is preserved.
I used to visit only the west side, but one time I went to the east side and was surprised to see more people there.
The west side has more charm in photos.
Instead of demolishing the old station building and constructing a new one, the old station is preserved and effectively utilized.
The area around the old station is a free plaza where various events are held. Many people visit.
There are quite a few homeless people around the plaza, though.
