Night Tour of Gaomei Wetland in Taichung🌅

We had originally planned to visit Gaomei Wetland for the beautiful sunset view, but unfortunately the transportation was longer than expected... When we set out from downtown Taichung, we thought, "It should be there soon, right?" But we ended up taking a lot of detours and the entire journey took a lot longer than Google Maps estimated!

When we arrived, it was already dark, so we missed the legendary golden hour, but Gaomei Wetland has a unique flavor at night! 🤍

Without the hustle and bustle of the day, the evening breeze feels especially refreshing. The lights of fishing boats in the distance, the starlight reflected in the intertidal zone, and the occasional sound of waves, are unexpectedly peaceful and romantic.

Tips: If you want to watch the sunset, it is recommended to set off 2 hours earlier, especially on weekends to allow for traffic jams. It will be much more convenient to drive or charter a car!
