Gaomei Wetland is a seaside wetland formed by the long-term siltation of Dajia River. There is a wooden plank road leading to the sea, which allows tourists to walk into the sea to enjoy the unparalleled sea view and the most beautiful sunset and scenery. However, it is not open to the public at present. There is Gaomei Wetland Natural Ecological Reserve around it. There are many animals living on the seaside where you can observe and appreciate the natural ecology. The green wetland is beautiful, and there is also a thoughtful viewing platform where you can sit down, rest and enjoy the seaside scenery. It is very comfortable to blow the sea breeze. If you have time, you must come here to enjoy the beautiful sea view!
Address: No. 8, Meiti Street, Qingshui District, Taichung City
Opening hours: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm (closed during high tide)
The boardwalk is not open at the moment
