Mitsui Outlet Taichung is a place you can go to directly after getting off the plane

transportation--
I chose to fly directly to Taichung, and took a taxi directly to Taichung Mitsui Outlet after getting off the plane. The fare was NT$300 and it took about 25 minutes to arrive.
After the evening tour, it was already around 19:30 and it felt a bit desolate at night, so I went to the customer service center and took a bus to the Splendor Hotel on Taiwan Boulevard, which took an hour.
If you have plans to go to Gaomei Wetland on the same day, you can go there together, for example, go to the outlet in the first half of the day and go to Gaomei in the second half of the day.

Shopping--
There are quite a few stores in Mitsui Outlet in Taichung. I was there from 1300 to 1930 at night. Although there are no very high-end brands here, there are many sports brands, such as Nike, Addidas, Puma, Reebok, Arena, Under Armour, etc. There are also some Japanese and American brands. But I think the prices are okay. You have to choose carefully to find clothes and shoes with suitable prices and styles.

Food and Drinks--
There is a foodcourt and a restaurant on the second floor. There are a lot of Japanese food, including hot pot, barbecue, Okonomiyaki, fried pork cutlet rice, noodles, etc. It's quite good. The tea shop is okay. It used to be Jingshengyu and has now become Yuqian Shangcha.

Overall evaluation--It's a good idea to visit Taichung and visit Gaomei Wetland on the same day. Rating 7/10.
