The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts was completed and opened on June 26, 1988. At that time, it was named "Taiwan Provincial Museum of Fine Arts" and was affiliated with the Taiwan Provincial Government. Later, after the implementation of "streamlining" in 1999, it was changed to the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and was affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, Executive Yuan. The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts has a large interior area of approximately 102,000 square meters. Sculptures by many artists can be seen in the outdoor grass and woods. Various artistic creations are exhibited in the art museum from time to time. Today I brought my whole family to visit the art museum. I took in all the outdoor sculptures and saved them all in my photo album. If I were asked to choose which city in Taiwan has the most suitable environment for living, I would definitely choose Taichung and Taoyuan. What they have in common is that there are many parks and green spaces, so there is not much sense of oppression between buildings. The streets in Taichung are also better greened, so it feels very comfortable whether driving, riding a car or cycling. Whether on weekdays or holidays, you can see many parents bringing their children to have picnics or run around and play on the grass at the National Museum of Art. It is such a blessing to have such an environment and space for people to stretch their muscles in the city. (20201129)
