🚗 Transportation
• Driving by yourself:
Starting from Taipei, take National Highway 5 to Provincial Highway 7, then turn to Provincial Highway 7A to reach Wuling Farm. It takes about 4 hours to drive there.
• Public Transportation:
Take the Taiwan Railway to Yilan Station and transfer to the passenger transport to Wuling Farm. The journey takes about 2 hours.

📝 Personal experience

Taoshan is one of the 100 peaks in Taiwan, with an altitude of 3,325 meters. It is located on the northeast ridge of the main ridge of the northern section of the Xueshan Mountain Range. Together with Pintian Mountain, Chiyou Mountain, and Kalaye Mountain, it is known as the "Four Beauties of Wuling." Among them, Taoshan is named after its peach-like shape when viewed from the southwest, and is recognized as the most beautiful mountain.

The hiking route starts from Wuling Villa in Wuling Farm and enters via the Taoshan Waterfall Trail. First, you walk along a firebreak, and then you can see the high mountain grass slope where you can see the entire Wuling Farm. The entire route is about 4.5 kilometers and requires climbing about 1,400 meters. Although the distance is not long, it is all uphill, which is a big test of physical strength.

The top of the mountain has an excellent view, and you can overlook the magnificent mountain scenery including the main peak of Snow Mountain, the northern peak of Snow Mountain, Dabajian Mountain, and Central Jianshan. In addition, Taoshan Mountain House is located on the hiking route, providing a place for climbers to rest and stay.

It is worth noting that Taoshan is located in Shei-Pa National Park, and you need to apply for a park pass in advance and comply with relevant regulations.
