Lishui Fishing Port

🏖️ Lishui Fishing Port, located in Longjing District, Taichung City, boasts a history of over a century. Originally established during the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty as "Tugeku Port," it was once as renowned as Lukang and Wuqi ports, making it one of the six major fishing ports in central Taiwan. However, due to the construction of a thermal power plant and the impact of floods, the port gradually declined. In recent years, it has been transformed into a tourist attraction with a Santorini Mediterranean theme, featuring blue and white bell towers, Greek-style murals, heart-shaped railings, and observation platforms.

This destination combines the historical charm of a fishing port with a romantic, exotic atmosphere. It offers facilities such as bike paths, birdwatching (from October to May), sunset viewing, and wedding photography spots, making it a popular check-in location along Taichung's coastal area.
