A Serene Forest Retreat: The Giant Buddha Hand of Nan Guanyin Mountain Trail

Nan Guanyin Mountain, also known as Guanyin Mountain, is one of Taiwan's "Small 100 Peaks." Located at the tail ridge of Touke Mountain in Taichung City, it is near the Dakeng Roundabout and behind Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology. With its convenient access, it offers a peaceful hiking escape amidst the bustling city. 🧗

The trail winds through acacia trees and bamboo groves, revealing layers of scenic beauty as it follows the undulating ridgeline.

At the mountain's summit lies the Jade Buddha Temple, which gives the mountain its name. The temple's towering Guanyin statue and the symbolic Giant Buddha Hand are iconic landmarks.

From the Shakyamuni Pavilion Observation Deck, hikers can overlook the Taichung cityscape and the distant mountain ranges. The expansive view brings a sense of tranquility and strength, carried by the gentle breeze. ❤️
