Taichung Sundate Cafe

Sundate Cafe, located in Taichung, is a brunch cafe that keeps you coming back for more. This is my third visit, and I once again ordered my favorite "Shrimp and Avocado Brunch." The creamy, fluffy scrambled eggs paired with the fresh, bouncy shrimp, accompanied by a small bowl of avocado salsa, create a refreshing and layered taste experience. Pair it with a cup of aromatic, smooth latte, and it's the perfect way to start the day.

The entire cafe is a collaboration between Sundate and Marimekko, featuring bold Nordic floral patterns that extend throughout the space—from the exterior walls and window sides to the tabletops—filling the atmosphere with joy. Soft light streams through the glass windows, casting floral shadows and blending with the aroma of coffee. It's one of the rare brunch spots in Taichung that combines a sense of design with a cozy ambiance.

Highly recommended for travelers looking to slow down, bask in sunlight, and savor delicious food. Whether you're stopping by alone for a quiet moment or catching up with friends, this place will make you want to return.
